Product Description

• Busduct is a prefabricated power distribution system consisting of printed wiring boards with high voltage insulators.

• It is used for distributing large amounts of electrical power to multiple loads.

• Busduct offers a flexible power distribution system to supply power to moveable equipment like cranes, robots, etc. where the use of cable is not feasible.

• It consists of three phases, a neutral and a ground bus enclosed in a grounded metal enclosure.

• The three phases and neutral are separated by high voltage insulators made of porcelain or fiberglass.

• It is available from 600 amps up to 6000 amps for indoor and outdoor applications.

• It provides a quick installation and flexible power distribution for new or temporary installations.

• It requires less space and eliminates wiring, reducing installation time and cost.

• Common types are non-ventilated, ventilated and isolated phase busducts.

• The non-ventilated type is used for indoor installations where the heat generated is relatively low. Ventilated types are for areas where large amounts of heat are generated.

• Isolated phase busducts provide extra insulation for areas where the system is exposed to elements like moisture, chemicals, etc.
